Back and better than ever

Presumably Las Vegas, January/February 1974.

Looks like 1970, but the "Aloha" style belt suggests 73 or 74. Is this picture edited?

Proof that a famous suit from 1972 was worn in 1973.

The following suit became famous after Elvis wore it while performing at Madison Square Garden, in 1972. So far, it's been believed that it was only worn in 1972. (See following)

Until now...
Here is proof that the suit was worn in 1973.

Notice in one of the pictures how an "Aloha" album can be seen, held by one of the fans. This album was not recorded until the January 14, 1973 satellite broadcast, let alone released. Checking this with elviscrawler.com, these are the possible dates the pictures could be from.
It was probably not during the winter Vegas engagement, since the album was not released until later in the engagement.
Therefore, probable dates are:
4/25/73 Fresno, CA
5/73 Lake Tahoe, NV
8/73 Las Vegas, NV

ELVIS CAN FLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No, seriously, look.

Ignore the impossibly quick changes in jumpsuit, weight and hairstyle in this post.

Taking Off

Flying through the air

Apparently his guitar can fly, too.

Wait...

OH NO!!!!!!!

Guess he can't fly after all

OH NO!!!! He's being attack by the Giant Energizer Bunny of DOOOM!!!

Don't worry, Elvis can ward him off with his awesome karate powers!!!!!!!!!!

...as long as he doesn't get tangled up in his fringe first

In the end, it's all in a day's work for Elvis

Time to relax and drink some Pepsi as a reward for all his hard work!

This is interesting

Today I stumbled upon some pictures from a funeral Elvis attended on January 3, 1977. It was the funeral for his girlfriend, Ginger Alden's, grandfather.
For a man who has less than eight months to live, he sure doesn't look too bad.

This is strangely sad

February 20, 1977
Elvis is looking at the first known picture taken of him, around 1938, sitting between his parents. At that point, his mother had been dead for almost two decades, and he had less than six months left to live. It is almost a reflection on his earlier life, and one cannot help but feel some remorse, for what was, and what was lost. Maybe this was a turning point for Elvis, and maybe it was just a typical show, Whatever it was, it certainly makes you think.

Funny Story

On June 30, 1973, a little boy attend a show dressed as Elvis. When Elvis saw this, he broke out laughing. He was so excited to see such a young fan, he gave the kid his cape and belt.
